Hey guys,
Over the past few months the free Forex4Noobs chatroom went from very exciting to very boring. I want to make the chatroom good again, so I am going to be back in the chatroom every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In the room I will be:
- Doing analysis (if it’s needed)
- Doing some Forex education
- Taking live trades.
I plan to jump in from about the start of the London session (8am GMT). So jump in the free chatroom you will be sure to learn something.
Also we have some changes to how the room will work. From now on there will be three types of users. Normal users, normal moderators and verified traders. Verified traders are people who I have verified as being real professional traders. Verified traders are distinguishable by the green colour of their user-names.
There are also some new rules:
1. No trade calls from unverified traders
Recently we have had a flurry of random people coming in with indicator based trading methods making trade calls. From now on if you’re not a verified PRO trader you’re not allowed to give trade calls or trading advice. This helps protect newbies from being led astray by people who don’t really know how to trade.
2. You Cannot Post No-Thinking-Needed Methods
Forex4Noobs is based on price action analysis trading and most of the methods here are indicator free. Therefore newbies cannot share no-thinking-needed methods in the chat room. Don’t know what a no-thinking-needed method is? Basically any method that is totally indicator based and/or does not have a proven track record of wins.
Hopefully these changes will lead to a better chatroom.

Sounds great Nick, I look forward to seeing more of your information in chat. I have enjoyed some discussions recently with bwiz and Trader451 as well as other learners such as myself.
With the new structure, with the mods and verified traders be the only ones to have access to the whiteboard, or will us noobs still be able to post our charts and trades for discussion?

Sounds good to me, especially as Tuesday and Thursday are my days off so will definitely be spending some time in there.
Just out of interest, how will you decide if someone is a verified trader?

Are you going to start again making weekly analysis with the S&R lines + Scalp lines?
So far for this week I have 2 scalp lines:
1. going long at 150.77
2. going short at 145.99 (146.00 psychological level)
Is that correct?

Great news, I must admit I had lost interest in the last few months due to lack of sensible conversation and misleading information from newbies.
Totally agree with zj the lack of sensible conservation was on the rise. Its you and your guys I want to hear from Nick not some would-be-if-they-could-be!!! Great idea go with it.

Hi Nick,Have read lots of good things about the Chatroom but has not yet experienced it. I’ve logged in twice since joining the forex4Noobs late 2009. Each time there was nothing happening. Today again I’ve logged in, and I’m there this moment and nothing is happening. May be I do not know how to effectively log in. Could you please send me a link of instructions how to find the real chatroom. I see here a GBPJPY chart on display, names of persons present to the bottom left and at the top a welcome message saying HELLO OSITADIMMA WELCOME TO THE FOREX4NOOBS CHATROOM. Can you please let me know how to be get into live chatroom.
