In light of recent blog comments and emails, it has come to my attention that a number of people are not aware of the fuction of forex4noobs. For this reason I have asked my team to write a mission statement. This should clear up many of the recent questions. It should also help everybody better understanding the purpose of Forex4Noobs.
You can view the mission statement here.

Love your site Nick, and it’s providing me with a way to achieve my dreams…. I’m not there yet, but in the process of saving up $1000 to start investing. In the meantime , I’m going to be demo trading, all thanks to Forex4NOobs…
Now it is written but in a way it shouldn´t be nessacery. Why? – simply because the culture itself at F4N had included this understanding and thus benefitted and contributed to it self like a living organism.
But like in all expanding systems, there is a tipping point where the growth outmatch the original intend. A lot of coorporate buisnesses see this happen and have thus methods etc. to make the culture on one hand like it used to be and allways have been and yet on the other hand integrating new impulses brought forth by new employees etc.
To maintain a healthy respectful culture is navigating a boat at sea.
This site has had a good start, a solid fundament and is still excellent and will continue to be because of his vision and earnest heart which the founder of the site keeps adcovating through materials exposed.
But to have a vision that is to make other people be free, independent and happy. To give an opportunity to freedom and prosperity AND then progressively being met with greedy minded outbursts, questioning the very few price-products, which is a bonus de luxe and not the key to finish all the free material in order to be succesful, can eventually drain all energy i pursuing this vision.
Therefore I feel sadden when reading these negative outbursts. It is insulting and have absolutely no right to be made. They are made up from greedy selffish minds that do not know the concept of giving and grattitude.
They should be sent somewhere cold, dark and scary to learn humility, selfesteem and love by trying on their own body and souls the benefit of making your own succes and not craving more more more from others who are willing to share.
Hopefully this “Mission Statement” will sort out the numbers of ungrateful minds so there is only to ignore the few left who are like internet trolls.
Thanks for your vision Nick. My wish is that you focus on joy and happiness and ignore these trolls even though they do make some noise.
In respect and grattitude!
Nick,
I think that is an excellent, and much needed, clarifying statement of purpose.
If you haven’t, I’d recommend that be placed on the home page, and every SEO landing page in your system! It’s best to get that in with a “noob” right up front, right?
There is still, in my mind, something unclear… What is your vision? Of course, this doesn’t belong in a mission statement… But I’m very curious about where you see this site going in the future.
In the last year, I’ve seen F4N move from a Monarchical site of trading your way, to a hierarchical incorporation of many other traders. It seems as if you were moving to an “aggregator” model of forex education. A central repository of initial information, and a hub for a noob to find ways of recognizing quickly what might work best for them. Then, they can branch off and connect with others independent sites to dig deeper, and still check in with the F4N community for a well-mannered ForEx community.
(But that’s just my observation… not a recommendation.)
Many thanks again.
Hi Nick,
Old saying:
You CAN please SOME of the people ALL of the time
You CAN please ALL of the people SOME of the time
You WILL NEVER please ALL of the people ALL of the time.
A quick scan of comments indicates that you can please ALL of the people >95% of the time and that is an amazing statistic. Don’t let the 5% get under your skin.
It is a fantastic site and a wonderful resource for new and not-so-new traders. Keep up the great work!
Cheers, Mike
Nick – I’ve been reading this site for as long as its been up. It used to be good – a simple weekly assessment of G/J with support/resistence lines and a good video.
Over the last 6 months the signals have dried up completely and the site seems to be dedicated to either selling trading packages, the justification for doing so or letting us all know what a good guy you are.
I cant be too hard on you as I suppose the give away is in the web name – Forex 4 Noobs – thats fair enough. If your target audience are people new to trading who haven’t got a clue then this site will point them in the right direction.
If you want to stop all the hate mail you need to make this clear.

@Dave Walker:
Mate I have to say I have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about….
The last signals video posted on this blog was on Nov/22/09 and it I very clearly said that there would be no more analysis until early January. This is because I never really trade December. Now I hardly think 6 months has passed since November 22nd 2009 has it?
In fact all the videos for each week in November were posted. I missed out some of October as I had my mum over from Australia but I posted the signals pretty consistently in September, August, July, June, May and that is as far as I bothered to look back but I probably posted in April, March, February and January too. I also posted a bunch of live trade videos and free e-Books…
Anyway the point is the analysis has been posted pretty consistently and it was posted up until 6 weeks ago at which time I said clearly I was taking a break.
Now if you look back over all the posts in the past 12 months only once did I mention a ‘trading package’ as you call it. So I have to ask you…… what on Earth are you on about?
P.S. I will resume full time trading on Sunday so there will again be signals. Who knows maybe this time you can open you eyes up a little.
Firstly, I would like to say… Forex4Noobs.com is a great site for Forex trading information. I think any new trader that is thinking about starting out in the Forex market would do well to visit this site and try to take away some of the valuable information and insights made available free by the site contributers.
However, as far as Mission Statement goes is far from the mark. Perhaps the contributers should double check the definition and purpose of such a Mission Statement. Wiki link – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission_statement. Personally to me, it seems more like an excuse or an apology. May be even a suck up to how great NickB is as a trader. Perhaps not needed but still far from any Mission Statement I have ever read.
Nick
At firs I cringed when I saw “Mission Statement” but after recalling some of the crap comments you have had to put up with I think I can understand your motivation for wishing to clarify what forex4noobs is about.
Before replying I googled forex4noobs, something I have never done before and was amazed at some of the things that came up. I read the FPA blogs and once more there is so much rubbish from people that clearly do not understand what made you start forex4noobs and to continuously develop the site for the benefit other others. So I have now popped in my own comment on the FPA blog.
I used to question why would people, first you and then the moderators put so much effort into helping others for nothing. Ultimately I just had to put my cynicism to one side and accept that there are still good guys and decent people in this world.
The chatroom has proved very helpful with contributions from all and when trading gets slow a little bit of fun and general knowledge from all.
One bit of advice, what is currently drafted is not a mission statement but a mix of goals or intentions so this needs to be simplified and be a bit more focussed.
I am sending you a separate email (which I know you dont reply to, no problem) which I trust will help.
I also feel that you have become sensitive to the fact that you do charge for some courses not just your own. Hey dont be, I bought your Video course and thought it great value for money. I still watch it especially when I start going off track.
I spent a few years running sales and management training and I know how long it takes to put together training material, there is no need to justify what you charge. If people dont like the cost they have a simple choice dont buy it but also dont knock it.
You know that you have loads of fans so keep that thought first in your mind and stuff the knockers.
Apologies all, part of 2nd paragraph should read “benfit of others” and not “benfit other others” me dork
Forex4noobs is undoubtedly the best site i have ever come across. Not only in the forex industry, but rather any site that offers an online education.
They have tons of info, ( some i still havnt got to after 6 months, and i have never paid a cent to Forex4noobs ) It is the clearest and most logical forex info i have ever read. They have a pro active chatroom where you can ask any question, no matter how dumb it might be, and they always give you great feedback. There is loads more, that mission statement is the truth.
I dont know where else you could find a more dedicated team as Forex4noobs and sensai NickB. Truly, i am always amazed at how hard they work on this. Why do they do it? Its almost crazy! I am sure NickB and the others could make a fortune out of what they do here, because their stuff really works.
So if anybody out there wants to complain about Forex4noobs, please dont. You might ruin it for the rest of us.
I am a newbie and thanks to NickB, the others and the whole website, I am beginning to make pips.
Thank you Forex4noobs!
Dear Nick: Mission Statements declare and clarify – for your benefit and others. In black and white – it is who you are, what you aim to achieve, and what we noobs hope to accomplish. All owner/founders need one. If nothing else – it serves as a reminder of why you started this site in the first place. It is a great idea!!! We noobies deeply appreciate your efforts, wisdom, and patience.
This forex territory can be daunting; your site (and a few others – BabyPips as an example) help us navigate the risks/dangers/opportunities.
This sight is essential if I plan to succeed. Nick – a heart-felt thanks!
Brian
Even though the statement might not qualify as a mission statement,(You cant know everything) I am still thankful that Nick still does what he does. Nick, dont let disillusioned people make you have to apologise for anything. As far as I and a lot of other people am concerned you are still doing a fantastic job. I havent bought any of your courses yet but I wil save up and do so.

Nice statement Nick and you have always had this misson and I really appreciate it. As for the critics I would just cap them then you got some choices: let them grow seaweed between their toes or tell the Mrs to avoid Satriale’s Pork shop special this week, or month for that matter. If you have time you can dump them in the woods and laugh when the birds pull out their eyes. The last option and one I would recomend for the ‘mate’ above is dump them in the long term parking lot at the airport and filch a bird up their … where they are talking from but that’s just me.
That is a stupid mission statement – ever read one ? My website is better than yours ! I stole KeefB and got FA fired. Now I will destroy your website and show everyone what a fraud you are too.
