GBP/JPY Long @ 135.10 Closed

Hey guys,

Just to let you know I’ve closed out the G/Y long at about the 135.80 pip mark. So it was a +77 pip trade. Hope everybody caught it….

Hi Nick, Thanks for the heads up. I set a limit at 135.338 and closed at 135.520, as I was sleeping. This was a test for me to see if I could manage a trade while not watching the chart, just technical A’s before the open of London. NorA

I tooked a long trade yesterday nigh (Central Std Time , -6GMT) when Asia has opening. Long 133.85 I closed manually this morning at 135.67 when I started see a reversal condition over 30min chart. Pretty good trade

Why you not sell or offer daily GBPJPY pair signals and pair analysis? Please let me know if your would have this service soon.

What do you think about to add volume (VSA) analysis in our FX trading method?

My favorite was Australia in this last SouthAfrica soccer game. Don’t stop believing!

Hey Nick

The beautiful joy that is the 9 – 5 kept me away from this one, in fact in the 2 weeks i’ve been trading live they’ve kept me away from a few… The pips that should have been. I’m not going to lose any sleep over 1 missed trade, but it’s a few now, any more and I will start swatting imaginary flies and talking to myself in riddles. Obviously i’m kidding (I think) but I am developing an irrational bitterness towards my employer seeing as though i’d have made more money being at home today than I actually did going to work.

Anyway it’s not the end of the world and nothing a beer won’t fix (or aggravate). But does anyone know if it’s possible to set the GFT platform Dealbook to take trades I set up for me whilst i’m out and about working for my pennies, but in such a way it’s not going to hit my stop loss and utterly demoralize my account if it doesn’t hit my entry first?

I’ve looked all over, Google, forums, GFT help, either it can’t be done or me being an elite professional noob I just can’t see what i’m looking for, i’m hoping it’s the latter. Just a link or something so I can help myself, I wouldn’t expect anybody to go in to great detail. Sorry if this has been asked before, I hope i’m not one of these fools thats missed a bloody great flashy link saying how to set up GFT trades, or something.

Apart from that just like to say thanks Nick, only discovered Forex a month ago and so far it’s been fun, only 60 pips up or so in 2 weeks using your method but I think I jumped in a bit quick so am taking a very cautious approach, I could of had a few more but i’m more interested in just watching how the market works at the minute.

Hey Nick,

Took the trade and closed out with +32 pips profit. I am at development stages in my trading and have made a conscious decision to try and get a few wins under my belt before trying to increase pip profit on a trade. Great feeling when you get a profitable trade:-) Your mentoring is a great help thanks!

Hey Nick, I took the long trade (3 micro lots) as well…..entered @135.31…confused about entering on the close of either the 4 hour candle or 1 hr candle above the scalp line…I’ll have to read the e-book again. I set my tp @ 136.00…of course it never hit it and I slept through the whole run back down. I did manage to steal 5 pips out of the market though with an exit @ 135.36.

Missed it but got the reversal at 134.70 for + 50 pips

i recently finished your 2010 edition and my first trade was long at 135.03 with+70 pips
i also got reversal short at 135.02 with +52 pips

Missed it, putting too much attention on SA world cup.
Have not been trading since the start of the world cup. have to learn how to strike a balance between fx and soccer..
