Why I do not answer emails

Posted by Nick 8 Comments

I got an angry email today from somebody that will remain unnamed. He was annoyed because he emailed me twice and I did not reply. Occasionally I get these kinds of emails from people. Below is a screen shot of my mail program, this is 4 days worth of emails! To be fair some of it is spam that got past my spam filters but 70% of it is forex questions. As you can see I have 270 emails in 4 days!

I do not have the time to answer all the emails I get. I doubt anybody has that kind of free time. I get an average of 50 emails per day, if I could answer each email in 5 min that’s 5 min x 50 emails which is 250 min. 250 min is just over 4 hours….. I can’t spend spend 4 horus per day answering emails.

I think ALL your questions are probably answered in the VIDEO COURSE, at least thats what I’ve found. That course is like getting a college education.

Nick, don’t even waste your time dealing with people like that. Some people just do not understand how much time is involved with running a site like yours. Besides that you are doing it for free!

If you were charging for mentorship and not getting back to people that would be an entirely different story.

People should appreciate what you are doing. I sure as hell do! So keep doing what you
are doing and pay no mind to complainers!

    Completely fair enough

What I’ve found through your website Nick, and particularly your December webinar, is that there are people who want exact answers to exact questions. In my (albeit limited) experience however I have found that forex is NOT an exact science. There are of course rules, guidelines, and strategies to adopt in order to ‘master’ trading, but at the end of the day there are no guarantees and everyone is responsible for their own trading decisions.
Nick, you provide an excellent service and forum, your video course covers a lot of great information and techniques, and your FREE weekly wrapups and analysis are invaluable. All of which must take a lot of your time and energy. For someone to send you a nasty email is not only rude, but just plain dumb. There are many forum members that I’m sure would gladly answer the person’s questions.
Many thanks for all your efforts Nick, they are very much appreciated.

You give FREE forex education. Some people just don’t think there are any others in this world besides themselves! It’s just that selfish me, me, me attitude. And thanks for the education and all the time you put into this forum.

Unfortunately Nick, sometimes when you try to help people they bite the hand that feeds them!!

You’re showing a lot of people a big piece of the pie and some people want the whole pie, which in Forex I have found to be impossible. It’s not an exact science it’s something you gotta work with and get experience.

So, please continue the great work that you are doing with this site. As previously mentioned most of the answers are already on the site or the person can post their question in the forum, where you frequently check or even answer it anyway. If not you, then other experienced traders and/or moderators do.

    Hi Nick,

Agree with everything said above… I’ve heard you say in your ebooks/video’s etc etc – “Do not send me emails, please post it in the forum”

Makes perfect sense to me and then everyone will benefit from the answer.

    Thanks

Totally agree with all the above. There’s a lot of appreciative people out here Nick.

    Cheers.
