nick i appreciate your offer and would love to have you help me out. i have been struggling with finding my own system by combining the systems of others. at this time i am getting myself in a dither. i know what i see, but i don’t always react to it the way i should. i am using the 800, 200, 62, 21 and 5&8 mva with stochs. i am trying to find a time frame where this will work. i suppose it is best to start with the higher time frames and work down. i am very good at support and resistance lines and fib expansion. i am desperate for help on a one to one basis.

Hi Nick – this is an interesting offer, and I suspect you will get a lot of replies! I’m not even going to suggest that you pick me, because I’m an old dog and it wouldn’t be easy to teach me new tricks. I’m just gradually feeling my way into this game, not wanting to get rich quick, learning to interpret the dance of the candles, learning that it’s all about discipline, not brains, and slowly getting better at it. Like you I don’t rely on indicators – to me they seem to obscure what’s right there in front of your eyes, rather than to help. In the end, trading is all about people, and what people do driven largely by greed and fear. If we can interpret that, we will become successful traders… I’ve reached the age where time is more important than money, and the only value of money is to give you time!

Why to deserve…?
Upon of my expirience in fact unexpirience.In year and a half I tried many of EA`s, many of indicators, many combinations of them with different “my own” and regular settings, mixed all together with each other… Some was good some was not but there is no 100% trading system.I also educated myself with many books about forex trading but at the end I realized “golden rule” – at least for me; TRADE WHAT YOU SEE” (candles, S/R ) without any indicators because they are only confusing stuff on chart.
So I use that rule but I want to know more about it, how to recognize right moment to get in, not to be late, get out of it right time…, I`m hungry for knowledge about forex.Sitting behind PC 10 hours per day is waste of time, how to reduce that time and be successful….that is a question.

I was just thinking the other day that what I need is a personal mentor to take me to that confidence level I need in my trading. I have been trading for a year now only to see that my account needs first aid now and again. I have tried out several EAs and manual systems and have had no success with it. Well… not really. After about 10 years of shuffling the illusions of corporate America from one firm to the next, I came to the conclusion that there had to be a better way. Two years ago my nosy curious nature landed me on a website where some dude was giving a lecture on trading the financial markets. Now me knowing that I had neither a degree in finance nor a PHD in economics, was well aware that this was just a good healthy waste of my time. But I sat and listened, impatiently might I add, hoping he’ll get done in the next few minutes so I can move on, feeling content because, hey! At least I listened. By the time he was finished my head was exploding. Not because he nearly bored me to death but because I had found the holy grail of answers that I was looking for, desperately!

This was back in October 08. Between then and January 09, I saved every penny while soaking up every bit of information from http://www.forex4noobs.com, http://www.babypips.com, bought a couple Steve Nison book and just about anything I could get my hands on. The plan was to save for about 6-8 months while studying and using a demo account and then go full in. Well that decision was made for me in January 09. I was a victim of the global financial crisis and I have been laid off since January. However, I’m not one to dwell on self-pity and I’m not looking for sympathy so I won’t spend another second talking about that. Anyhow, I managed to scrape together $5000 and I went live in April 09. Since then I have lost about $4000. I’ve managed to get a little back and I have to keep going. I’m not afraid to fail but failure is not an option. My future, my life my family.. everything is riding on this opportunity. My time is now, I cannot go back to the corporate world. I am fighting night and day to make this work. I have been doing this for two years and have successful blown up two accounts all on my own! My problem seems to be my keen ability to self destruct. In addition, my self education has been almost comical! There is too much information available on currency trading. I do not know what to use and what not to use. Do I use someone else’s methods, or develop my own? Is backtesting worth a crap? What does the candle REALLY look like when you pull the trigger? One week I lean towards all technical, the next week all fundamentals. What is the happy medium? Is there one? Is it good to stack? What moving averages are best? And don’t get me started on S/R!! Who? What? Why? Where? I know trading is an art, not a science. However, one would think, with all my “art supplies” that I could at least draw a perfect circle day after day. Then, I could build on that circle and draw a face. I do need some guidance. I find the isolation of being a trader to be the hardest part, therefore, this offer would go a long way for me.

I am a stay at home mom by choice. I have a master of Science degree in Environmental Science and I could be working but I decided to stay home and be there for my 3 children and be the one to raise them up instead of letting them grow up with babysitters and daycares (nothing against babysitters and daycares, just my personal choice). Raised my kids alone as single dad, and it took me 10 years to work my way through college and became a social worker. I worked as an advocate for homeless men, and homeless women with children and after 15 years, I was let go because there was someone with a Master’s degree looking for a position that would work for less money and work more hours, (and coincidentally) went to church with my boss. She got the job… and I’ve been unemployed for nearly 5 months.

I want to be my own boss and make my wife and kids proud of me again. Here in Kentucky there are 6 unemployed people for every job listing, but things are tough everywhere, so can’t complain too much.

Hi nick 1 Like the scene from the movie i robot were they store all the old robots in trailers. I to have a trashcan full of junk forex robots. I have been trading for 6 years and so far have paid out enough for three full college educations on the losses alone. I have tried all different methods and do well enough to keep trying but then hold the blowups to knock me out of the park. I have so many things on my chart, at times it is hard to see the candles. Wow-what a great offer.
3 years of trading. I see the market go up, down and sideways. Unfortunately it always seems to go side ways for me. I have used many different systems and methods and have been able to develop no consistency at all. In to late and out to early seems to be the name of my game.
Indicators have their place but it does seem to come down to support and resistance.
I have four years till retirement to get my trading perfected and use trading as part of my retirement income. This help would be GREAT. Ether way i am in for the long haul.

My personal style of trading is more long to medium term.

Not suggesting you should do this for free; but, how about training a “class” through Skype a couple of times of week (or whenever you have the time). That way more people would benefit from your mentoring sessions! Personally, I’ve downloaded lots of trading info. off websites, watched seminars and bought various videos/cd’s BUT there always seems to be something “missing” and I’m still searching to find the best possible entries and exits – I’m definitely someone who learns best “old style.” That is, a hands-on approach. I need to see how a method is applied and ask questions when I don’t understand ….. that way it “sinks in” for me! Also, my brain TRULY needs to see everything “simplified!” Find some some of those busy, busy charts to be REALLY confusing!! (Maybe it’s my age?! Lol!)

I have been “settled” in my work routine for the last 7 years. 2 years ago I discovered forex and have been fascinated by it.I have read up on it, done demo accounts but due to lack of confidence in being able to undertake such a completely new challenge have not done any active trading. I love sharing knowledge with those less experienced, whilst learning from those with more.

I really want to get to trade clean charts and no indicators and to impart this knowledge on newer members.

I sometimes wonder, do people really make money in forex, or simply get battered and start writing books, build a website, give seminars, etc to earn side income and get life going. Its interesting, I did make money for few months and have read through few books, including every nuances I can gather from forex4noobs.com. I did my due diligence before I went live, but there is something which none of these books, online materials can do and that is fix my trading climax. I’ve it ingrained in my head there is no replacement for right trade size, and I get my directions right, but… Probably need to do some unlearning…maybe. In any case if you can fix it Nick, I’m willing to share my pips with you upto 50% of my trading profits during your invaluable mentorship. I believe I can win, and there is no such thing as free lunch Appreciate the offer in anycase.

I have been a smuggler, worked for the military during gulf 1 and 2, I have worked a radiographer for two royal families, I did a stint as a mercenary in Cambodia, I have been around the world 4 or 5 times. I have seen and cheated death many times over. I am an Australian by choice not an accident of birth. The hardest thing I ever did was looking after my 9 month old daughter for an afternoon. I worked security for a private Michael Jackson concert to the sultan of Brunei then x-rayed him afterward. I have had Tina Turner sing at my dinner table at the birth day of the Sultans son. I trained with the Sultans Gurkha guards and the NZ SAS and then went to Cambodia as a mercenary just to see what it was like. People say I think I am always right, I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken. navygirl (Auatralian) understandable and very laudable that you are proud to be an Australian. However, is this the same navygirl that has never been on the chatroom. Sounds like you may have connection difficulties as she roars around the high seas or elsewhere on active duty. Aa an ex-serviceman, who also trained Australian forces in jungle fighting techniques, I know how difficult it is to be ready and around when you think you are going to be.

scott (American) quell surprise and guess what he claimed to have used 14-words when it was more like 270+ words thats 900% more than was asked for. OK he broke the rules and that was what you were looking for, but funny, more humour in an undertaker, my guess IT guy, rigid, process focussed, time will tell.

Pick a brit – not a chance, after all we have horrible politicians, horrible rules, horrendous and stifling laws (hey we agree, but at least they are ours), and unlie Italy they work most of the time. then we have our horrible, noisy washing macines, ISP’s that kick you out 10-times a day (funny i never lose my connection, i lie once in teh past year), probably down to the Edinburgh Tram Works.
