Like Master Candles?

Hey Guys,

If you like trading Master Candles you should check out the new Potential Master Candle Set-ups forum thread. In it I will be posting the latest master candle set-ups every morning (or at least as often as I can).

I think it will be a great way to share possible trade set-ups and make some pips.

Guys – this one really irritates the living snot out of me. There is NO such thing as a “master” candle. It is properly called a mother candle or inside bar. This has been around since the 1940′s. Martin Pring writes on this in his price pattern book. I mean no offense but stop “discovering” something old and renaming it. There is actually a whole school of thought that goes with method. Also you noobs really need to do your own research and work and stop waiting for hand outs from others and singing mighty praises over nothing – you do not get any respect from seasoned traders like me. Nick is a great trader because he works at it. He spends gobs of time perfecting his skills. His objective has always been to introduce these things for educational purposes. In other words its up to you to learn AND carry forth. Enough said !

Trader451 – Wow, I am glad I am not alone here. I have known from the start that Nick has just renamed this age old technique, but hay, he has offered a FREE mt4 indicator, a FREE ebook, and FREE advice for those wanting to learn about inside bars. You are correct Trader 451 in that noobs really need to do their research about inside bars. Inside bars often appear during the slower sessions such as the Asian session (something that Nick has pointed out in the past), however what many traders overlook is there relevance to elliot wave traders. Inside bars frequently appear during rest periods or pull backs in a trending market, so it is important that noobs do not get caught out by merely trading the break of the master candle without first knowing how much potential the market has in continuing in that direction. Noobs, do some basic reading on elliot wave trading and then combine this knowledge with what you have learned from Nick, trust me, you will benefit greatly.

I renamed it? are you kidding me? Everybody here knows Furious Angel was the first person to start talking about Master Candles on Forex4Noobs.com. I only became aware of them when I saw Furious discussing them in the chat room. I was apprehensive about using them at first, but as time went on I began to understand their value. I then wrote an e-Book on them in which I clearly credited Furious Angel for introducing me to master candles. So whatever you though you knew ‘from the start’ is wrong. I never once laid claim to discovering Master Candles nor did I rename them.

I understand that these candles were originally called insider bars but who really cares? Does the name change their effectiveness? If you Google ‘Master Candles’ you will find just as much info as you do when you Google ‘inside bars’. So as far as I am concerned insider bars can now also be called Master Candles.

I am actually happy that I built a site large enough to have spawned a new candle pattern name.

The post was not directed at you per se and it was not ment to be offensive – “whoever” did in fact re name it – can’t deny a fact – again – they are called mother candles or inside bars and as ProPip pointed out can be very powerful when truly understood which brought me to my other point – noobs need to dig deeper into the treasures you bring forth on this website. Sorry to say Nick – all due respect kind sir – if I google inside bars I come up with information from all sorts of website. If I google master candles I come up with post stemming from Forex4Noobs et al. Again, Nick, my overall point is there is more to this and noobs should appreciate the work that you share with them but they also need to educate themselves beyond.

This is the statement that I took offence to. The guy has no clue what he is talking about yet he makes a matter-of-fact statement about me.

If you look at my comment the first line says “@ProPip” meaning it is directed at him not you. I took no offence to your comment mate.

To keep long story short,the most important thing here is that Nick is taking his time to educate us on these candle patterns,it doesnt matter whether it got renamed by him or some other dude here.
