I am releasing a new addition in the next few days which shows the daily range and predicted range in a much more visual format, this will be as an add on to the current version rather than a replacement, comprehensive instructions are contained within the spreadsheet itself which most seem to find OK. I can understand you might have difficulties if English isn't your first language though.
Version 2 is now available which in addition to the original version gives a live market overview of the daily range of 17 pairs.
Before opening the spreadsheet, enable live data in MT4 by going to Tools/Options/Server and checking the "Enable DDE Server" box.
Also, you must have a live MT4 data feed established BEFORE you open the spreadsheet.

I have uploaded a revised version 2 that now correctly displays the data supplied by brokers that include an extra digit after the decimal place, I.E Alpari.
Thank you Roadrat for your Ratogram

For the first tab, I have download hst files for USDCAD, but when click on the button to open it doesn't reconigised the format?....hmmmm,
TAR = Today's Actual Range (Gold Bar)
TPR = Today's Predicted Range (also known as ADR in some indicators)
PPIR = Price Position in Range (where the price currently is relative to today's range)
% TPR = The percentage of today's predicted range that has currently been achieved.
All of the above values are the source data for what is shown on the chart.
You are almost there, but you need to review the instructions on the "Main" tab which describe how you export the daily data files. These are not .hst files, when exported as described they are .csv text files. If you then scan through the exported files as explained in the instructions in the "Market Overview" tab that start, "if you want to include an overlay", you will find the data in the missing columns will appear along with a grey outline which is the predicted daily range. Also the yellow text at the bottom of the range bar will now give a value.
Hey Rat, downloaded ODL .. and the RatoGram worked! So it WAS a problem with feed from my broker. Won't need to be sending that Rat-o-gram back for my full refund now after all![]()
