Thumbs up Hello, my name is John and I have the power to move markets!

Hello to all, or that should be good day to all, as the title says, my name is John and I have the power to move, stop and turn markets around.

I will attach a picture to show you what I mean.

I have been learning to trade for some time now and need some serious help; I know this is the introduction thread but perhaps a few short comments on trading won't be frowned upon too much?

I hope I can learn and finally see the light on this forum; I certainly like what I have read so far.

OK, on to my latest trades, see the picture first, AUS/USD, great up trend, only problem, I didn't see it until very late, entered at 69.25 - OOPS, market drops, stopped out for loss, hey, this will be a great short, sell at 69.04 - OOPS, market rockets back up again........ stopped out again...........and no guts to get back long again....

Seems like EVERY trade I put on, the market "knows" and just stops, reverses, takes me out, how do you get over this, or even deal with it? Sure getting me down lately........

Thanks to all replies, sincerely, John

Arrow Follow up chart

As a follow on to the image posted, I'm sure that you will tell me that I am trading the wrong time frame, and if I put a line as shown in the next image, that I would be able to scalp some pips....... as I said, I am just learning and need some serious help, as I am sure there are many silent traders out there reading this as well....... thanks, John

If you see a trend and you've missed it, then that's that. You've missed it. Don't chase after trends/trades.
Do you even have a sophisticated strategy or entry setup? When you miss your entry, sit back and wait. Don't take the trade when you've missed it already.

Hi John,

you have found a good site here with some very capable traders posting interesting journals and stratergies.

See Furious Angles Journals and startergies for example also look and Synaps blog and read all the info Nick has provided. There are many others.

There are no majic fixes (that I know of) but I stongly urge you to stop trading temporaly if your becoming emotional about your trades.

You must has a method or set of basic rules / guidlines to help manage your trades. Experience counts for a lot and you can't buy that or gain it quickly, you simply have to put in the hours. I go through the same scenarios as you so completely sympathsis

I have total beleif that I will not only make it as a trader but beleive I''m getting close to the point where I'm consistanly profitable.

Keep at it mate use sensable money management so you dont blow your account, and perserver you can do it!

cheers Rich

................ that when ever I put a trade on, that causes the end of the trend!
Yes, you are right, I have been jumping around trying different systems; I have settled on using 1 now with some success, thanks, John

Question I forgot to ask...........

.........................didn't really want to start a new thread about this, but wanted to ask about this outfit claiming great success ?

(LINK DELETED Rule 4)sorry about that, I will try to get my posts up to 50 soon, anyway, the outfit is called the wizard, I'm sure that you can find them on the internet, anybody heard of them..........?

I did a search for them the other day and did not get any hits; I thought for sure that there would be some discussion on them somewhere? Anyone heard of them - not that I would pay them anything, just curious.........

I heard about that software. Its one of those softwares that tell you when to buy and sell and all that other "magical stuff". Why would you pay all that money to have some software tell you how to trade? Just use common sense and human intuition.
