Roadrat's Ratogram
 I've created this Excel utility to show how the average daily range is varying and to give values based on this and the predicted daily range for S&R and scalp line breaks. You simply export the daily data file from Metatrader (3 clicks) and retrieve the file into Excel. It's very easy to use and can be used on any pair. Full instructions are in the spreadsheet along with other information notes. Look for the cells containing the small red triangles and hover your cursor over the cell. I've called this program "Ratogram" (yeah snappy name eh). Happy range finding.  Version 2 is now available which in addition to the above gives a live market overview of the daily range of 17 pairs. Before opening the spreadsheet, enable live data in MT4 by going to Tools/Options/Server and checking the "Enable DDE Server" box. Also, you must have a live MT4 data feed established BEFORE you open the spreadsheet. DownLoad Ratogram Last edited by Roadrat; 06-10-2009 at 11:44 AM.

I get an error 'run-time error 445 object does not support action' when I try import the data but when I hit 'debug' and then exit the debug screen the file is loaded. I am guessing it might be a Vista issue. Anyway it still works so that is awesome thanks man!

Yeah it shouldn't jump out of the prog there. This new version of office is generating a false error.
