MT4 Brokers with GMT candels (NickB Method)
Since my method relies partly on candle patterns people trading it want their 4hr GBP/JPY candles to open/close at the same time as mine so the look the same as mine. The problem is that candles open and close based on the brokers server time. If the brokers server time is GMT-5 (N.Y. time) the candle will open at a different time than a GMT brokers candles. This cannot simply be changed on the platform, this is not the display time it is the candle open time. I use GFT's Dealbook platform for my charting but for all you Metatrader lovers here is a list of MT4 brokers that have their candles set to GMT time.
