Lets talk about Rush Limbaugh who probably has the most listeners in America as far as political talk radio is concerned. For the record I don't like Limbaugh I think he is boring and too much of a Bush-bot. I think he is on EIV Radio network. Should that network be forced by the government to put on a Liberal voice to counter Rush although this Liberal person maybe not have the talent to have his/her own radio talk show? Liberals love Big Goverment even though it is beauracracy hell. I'm for smaller government.

They both infringe on broadcasters' rights. In my opinion, they are both stupid. There are currently much better ways to solve the problems they were created to solve (more effective media ownership regulation laws, for one).
well maybe you and I finally agree on something.

Ok you and I agree on this point. But why should this particular opinion be the prevalent view? What if parents differ on this even though you and I agree on this. What if you and I agree these things should be taught if a child is lets say 8 years old? What if the parent wanted to wait till the child was 9 or 10? What about parent's rights?

Well I was originally talking about the Fairness Doctrine and you injected the Equal-Time rule which I admit is related.

For the record I don't think goverment should dictate to schools how sex ed is taught. Parents should do their own research or due diligence on what schools teach their kids.

so dpdawson, you are fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Are you planning on voting for Obama, Hillary or McCain? Or none of them?

I would probably vote for Obama because he seems like a guy who will make rational decisions and is (relatively) not a corporate shill.

Clinton is bought and paid for and seems to want the power a little too much. I feel like I can smell the desperation.

McCain, through no fault of his own, is crazy. I will never vote for anyone for President who spent a significant amount of time in a cage being tortured. I cannot see anyone coming out of that experience without a few screws loose. Add to that equation the power to launch nuclear missiles because you had a bad day and you can count me out.

Oh, and Rush Limbaugh is a certifiable moron (along with most other pundits). Since most people are stupid, I guess I understand why stupid pundits have TV and Radio shows.

Sometimes I wonder why the world is so messed up, then I remember that 100 is the average IQ.

Honestly, the solution to most of our problems is liberal eugenics combined with population control.

No, I am not a conspiracy theorist. I am willing to listen to any idea, though, if it can be supported by reliable evidence.
