My friend spent about $5,000 on this amazingly powerful and beautiful laptop. He saved up for months to get it and it was just breathtakingly fast. For normal non-gaming usage it was faster than my desktop PC and that is saying a lot.
About two weeks after he bought it he was taking some trades. All of a sudden the market breaks out against him, he had 3 positions open and all went negative. He stayed in thinking it was a minor reversal but it kept going down and down. When he finally came to his senses and decided to close the brokers platform fezzes. I was on the phone with him and I could hear him screaming and swearing. Then all of sudden I head BANG, SMASH, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG. He went crazy and he basically destroyed the laptop. He punched a hole in the screen, smashed it against a wall and then when it fell he stamped on it. When he finally calmed down he game me his password and I closed his trades for him. It was surprising because he is usually so timid. Needless to say the computer was beyond repair.
