This is just creepy, weird, and bizarre behavior.

Whats weird to Americans is normal to Europeans. Europeans think its weird that Americans do whatever they can to avoid siting next to somebody on a train. They also think its weird that Americans rather spend weekdays in front of the television than at the square socializing. Americans find it weird that men in Italy (and other Euro countries) kiss each other on the cheek as a greeting.

While I agree the guy in the vid looks extremely weird if you spend enough time in Europe you will realize that just how it is. In America kids can see people being decapitated and shot on tv (movies and shows not for real) but sex scenes are a no-no. In Europe violence on television is restricted for kids but sex scenes are not (well not as much as the U.S.).

I have also read in studies that in most European countries a persons personal space is smaller than that of an Americans. Personal space it basically how close a person can stand next to you while talking to you before you find it weird. In Europe people are a lot more comfortable with others and kissing somebody on the cheek is not a big deal.

While its true that each culture is different, I don't think the behavior displayed by the comedian is appropriate. Personally, if I were the kid's father, I would be very angry. If it quacks like a duck and look like a duck, its a duck.

Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I like the forum, videos, blog,... everything.

I have also read studies about personal space... and is dependent to the population in the city or wherever you live. That about kissing is true. I live near Italy and kissing on the cheek is something usual; in ex Yugoslavia even 3 times.

Like I said, I'm from Europe and this guy is totaly weird to me also. Agree with NesmithDJ... would be mad at this "guy" if I were the father.

Sorry for my bad english, hope you understood something

As a slightly detatched European in the UK I found that a strange form of entertainment, I don't know what they were singing about but it was dreadfull in every respect.

We don't really go for the kissing thing here so much as a general greeting, but it does go on within some families, it's not really in keeping with the British "stiff upper lip" but has spread across with immigrants from the Euro-mainland I think.

After reading the comments about this video I wont be watching it so therefore I wont be commenting on it.
About personal space though. This is really interesting. When a bloke stands to close I hate it and I'll do anything to get away. But, when an attractive woman does the same thing she'll recive my undivided attention!!!
As for European men kissing other men on the cheek. Well, thank goodness Great Britain is an island. None of that sort of thing over here thank you very much.
