Answer to fx_lion's question
Slightly frustrating this, I saw his question in the experts section but couldn't answer it there.
The MetaTrader MIG server does not deliver the feed in GMT, it is an hour earlier and the current time it displays is an hour into the future, all very confusing!!. fx_lion. If you want Metatrder in GMT (same as NIck's candles) you should go to the ODL Securities Web site, UK region, ODL Securities - Forex(FX), CFD, Futures and Equities & Options Trading and download the Metatrader demo. They say this is a 28 day trial, but I've heard that it doesn't time out. I downloaded it a few days ago and it works fine and gives correct GMT candles. If it does time out it can probably be renewed easily enough. This can be loaded alongside your current Metatrader installation and then your indicators/profiles etc copied from the folders of the old version to the corresponding folders of the new. Perhaps someone who has access to the Expert section could put a link from fx_lion's thread to this post. Welcome to the community fx_lion. |
