new week of trading begins....trade that I entered earlier
Bal 510.99 GMT 01:48 Short .3 lots gbpjpy 203.68 * looking for movement toward 200 level again this week GMT 13:24 Closed .3 lots gbpjpy 203.29 [+11.25] * price seemed to find near-term support around 203.00. getting ready to go to work and don’t want to leave the position open. will watch price throughout the day to see if it breaks below 200, if it does I might enter another short position. GMT 06:58 Short .5 lots gbpjpy 202.76 * S/R line I had placed at 203.02 was broken so I’m looking for price to move down. we’ll see how things go during the 1st couple hours of london trading. * Need to remember to size my position to allow for increased movement around a line that has been breached before, especially an even number. I still think price will drop further but I might not be able to survive the pullback on this one. GMT 08:24 Closed .2 lots gbpjpy 203.02 [-5.01] * About to go to bed and I'm not willing to leave the position open w/ .5 lots. .3 will allow me to set a wider stop…prob right around 203.36. GMT 08:39 Stopped out .3 lots gbpjpy 203.36 [-17.32] * Not upset, but I need to learn how to position my size so that I can handle the wild movements of this pair. I also could've been more patient, this wasn't a very good entry. * On a positive note…I closed out before allowing one trade to demolish this month's gains. Live to trade another day. GMT 00:07 Short .3 lots usdcad .9939 GMT 00:14 Short .3 lots gbpjpy 206.02 Short .3 lots usdjpy 104.31 * Based on daily and 4 hours momentum seems to be moving downward GMT 09:24 Closed .3 lots gbpjpy 206.84 [-23.53] Closed .3 lots usdjpy 104.53 [-8.42] * @ one point gbpjpy was up about 100 pips, I prob should have closed a couple lots to lock in profit and then let it run. of course had price continued down I wouldn't be saying that. I am learning that once London begins to move against your position, it's time to cover. GMT 16:50 Closed .3 lots usdcad .9896 [+13.04] * thought about leaving this open but after my other positions went from + to – I wanted to take some profit. emotional? probably Bal 481.00
