Trading for week 36 - September 01 - 5 2008
01/9/2008 Short GBP/JPY 195.19: +80 PIPS Took a break of the 1hr Master Candle, which was also the low of the day. Held onto this as it moved very fast and also the monthly candle closed below my trendline. It also broke throu S/R around 194.42. Got out with 80 pips, perhaps it will go down further, but we have news in 30 mins and I don't trade news.. Great start to the week  Just waiting for my Oil trigger now for the day.01/9/2008 Short WTI 115.37: +50 PIPS Took a breakout trade which also happened to be a BAT breakout and a 4hr master candle too. 02/9/2008 Short WTI 109.86: +50 PIPS This was a breakout trade, however before the trigger a 4hr Master Candle was broken too, so momentum was very fast. 02/9/2008 Short WTI 108.26: +50 PIPS Broke the low of the previous 1 hr candle and also broke through S2 support. This combined with a trendline bounce on CCI looked for a good trade. 03/9/2008 Short WTI 107.71: -30 PIPS This went 30 pips my way and then suddenly reversed - I exited before my S/L this time because it looked to reverse right off S1. Hopefully this is my loss out of the way.. 14/2 so far live on Oil Running total so far for week 36: + 200 PIPS

Hi Rogan, Where you refer to BAT break out are you refering to the MT4 indicator BAT ATR? and the method described by EL some weeks ago? I curious as I have been testing ways of incorporating this in a Demo a/c with some encouraging results. Rich

Yes Rich, the BAT ATR. I don't use it on it's own, but it's an additional signal to my 1st signals, it'll add more weight for me. So I think here I had my breakout signal and a master candle break, the BAT was an extra signal.
