Feb. 17 through Feb. 22

1. I had originally set a scalp line around the 210.30 area. After watching Nick's analysis and thinking about it for a while, I decided it may not have been a good idea. However, I was already in the trade following the break. So I just got out at +7.5 pips. Things went my way after all once I was out, but I don't mind. I wasn't comfortable with that trade.

2. Got in at the break of the 210.90 scalp line and got out at +50.

Total for the week: +57.5 pips
Target for the week: 100 pips

Very stale week. Not much to get out of it. Glad I got what I got and won't complain.

Feb. 24 through Feb. 29

1. Like most people, I entered the 212.0x break, closed half @ 70 pips, other half stopped out at breakeven.


Total for the week: +35 pips
Target for the week: 100 pips

2. Went short on the break of the scalp line at 208.75. Closed at +50 pips.

I might call it a week unless something major shows up.

3. Turns out I wasn't done after all. Entered the break of 207.00, and since I couldn't stay to keep an eye on it, I had a take profit for the whole trade. Closed it all at +70 pips.

Congrats! While I was opening this journal I thought - well, there's only one possible trade that he could have added And of course - 207.00

So far this week, I have missed 2 nice trades. The down break of 204.85 area because it was too early in the Sunday evening session and I wasn't around, and now the upper break of 207.00 because I thought I had my order placed for it, which it wasn't.

On the other hand, I did catch one trade, although Nick didn't consider it a trade.

Week of March 2 through March 8, 2008

1. I went long on the break of the 205.85 scalp line. In Nick's opinion, it was no longer valid because the price went below it, but I disagreed. The line was never crossed per se. Price closed the week above it and opened the week below it. Then price went up to it a couple times so far this week, so to me it was still good. Went long and closed at +50.

I had that line too Metalhawk....I wasn't able to place the trade because I was working, but thought it was a good trade. Turned out to be a very nice one. My reasoning was similar to yours.
