Yeah, I am a lot more consistent. I'm now working on kicking those last few bad habits (closing too early, not letting price get close enough to my target) or forgetfulness (checking upcoming news releases before considering taking a trade). But I am no longer doubting myself when entering a trade, which is huge.

Hi MH very inspiring to hear you say this - I'm going along a very similar journy myself. At least we no there will always be more trads just around the corner. keep at it. Rich

Absolutely. That's one of the first thing I started telling myself: "there's gonna be other trades". An infinity of them, to be exact. I used to fret when missing a break and would sometimes take an ill-advised trade trying to ride the rest of the candle, and most of the time, it was with a bad ending. But I know better now, and so do you, obviously. Keep it up.

I know this is a week late, but here goes...

September 7 - September 13

1. I had set a scalp line at the yearly low of about 186.15, but as I mentioned before when discussing my way of trading, when I'm not around, I will have orders placed automatically for scalp lines. It has caught me many trades I wasn't around to manually enter, but this time, I ended up with a loss as price reversed almost immediately after breaking the line. Oh well, shit happens. -56 pips.

And that was the only trade of the week, again.

And now, we have come to the end of the line for this journal. No, I'm not going anywhere, rather, this journal is now becoming a blog hosted right here on Forex4noobs. For those interested, the blog is located at Metalhawk’s Blog

There's not much there yet as I'm in the process of transferring my stats there and learning all the subtleties it has to offer. I believe that will be a much better medium for my frequent ramblings and of course, you are all welcome to leave comments there any time you please.
