Two Forex Mentoring Winners

Posted on

Hi Guys,

Wow over 170 applications this time (not counting the 80 I got via email). I will try and keep this short. What it came down to is somebody who stood out from the rest. Most people said something like:

  1. ‘Forex is too hard I need help’
  2. ‘If you pick me I will mentor somebody else after you teach me’

Passing on the knowledge by the mentee becoming a mentor is certainly is a noble notion. However, countless people who entered said pretty much the same thing. There is no guarantee it will happen and it doesn’t make you stand out.

When I was 14 I went for a job at the video store. In the interview the store manger said to me “Tell me about yourself”. With what I thought was a stroke of genius I said “well I am a movie buff I love films”. She smiled and replied to me “That’s what everybody I interview says”. Needless to say I did not get the job. I didn’t stand out, I was just another guy spouting off some rehearsed line that I thought would impress. So in the new year when I pick the next two students keep that in mind. You need to stand out not blend in.

Ok so who did I pick this time….

My first pick was Elijah (Ninja-Wannabe) from Canada. His comment really stood out to me. Probably because I love movies, pc games and cooking. To be honest the desire to be able to do the things I wanted like PC games, movies, martial arts and whatever else is what drove me towards Forex. It seems like Elijah wants the same things so I picked him.

Wanna sit at home, watch movies, play pc games and cook for my gf when she gets home from a hard work day. Give me the POWER to do so!

My second pick was BlastedCopywriter from the UK. He left a very well written comment that clearly stood out from the others.

I have no great need for money, what I lustfully crave is success. Success is my drug, my addiction to it drives me. Can you guide me to success?

Come January 7th I will be picking two more mentoring students to join this group so stay tuned.

And next week Sirena (NavyGirl) one of the winners of the previous mentoring comp who has finished up her mentoring will be writing a guest post. She will explain what she learned and how she is currently doing for all of you who are interested in an update.

Thanks to everybody who entered.
